In DynRisk objects may be selected in two different selection modes: “First selection” and “Second selection”. Objects selected using “First selection” are hilited, while objects selected using “Second selection” become outlined.
The current selection mode may be set by choosing “First selection” or “Second selection” from the “Windows” menu or clicking the corresponding buttons in the toolbar. The current selection mode becomes check marked in the menu and the corresponding toolbar button is hilited. You can also alternate between the selection modes by pressing the Tab key.
For some menu commands the selection mode does not matter, such as “Select all”, “Duplicate” and others. This means that the commands apply to the current selection only.
For others, such as “Connect nodes”, “Distribute”, and “Scatter plot” the selection modes are of specific relevance.
